I got my start writing classical music reviews and feature obituaries at the Cincinnati Enquirer. The newsroom is where I learned how to interview - or more importantly, how to listen. And the experience taught me that everyone has a unique and incredible story.
I spent five years as the PR manager and writer for a national nonprofit university based in Cincinnati before becoming an account manager and copywriter for Orchard, now one of Cincinnati’s largest digital agencies. That’s where I developed a passion for SEO and analytics.
During my nearly eight-year tenure with Best Friends Animal Society, I wrote feature content to elevate the organization’s mission to help our country’s shelters reach no-kill.
Today, I combine my extensive writing experience with my love of innovation as a content strategist.
My goal is to craft content and strategies that help people see things more clearly, make better decisions, and feel better about themselves and the world we live in.
I thrive on collaboration and enjoy helping clients, from small businesses to global brands, connect with their audiences in meaningful ways.
I weave my passion for writing into almost everything do. A yoga teacher for more than 20 years, I’m working on a collection of narratives about teachers and practitioners who have used yoga to heal from trauma.
And as the owner of a little shotgun-style home in Louisville, I’m building and creating content (writing and otherwise) about shotgun houses.
Born in the UK, I was raised in Cincinnati and Stuart, Florida. Today, I toggle between Nashville, Cincinnati, and Louisville with my two dogs, Olive and Dottie - the fastest girl on three legs.
