In my role as the outreach writer and editor for Best Friends Animal Society, I interviewed everyone from adopters to animal welfare experts and wrote content to help elevate Best Friends’ mission of no-kill for all shelters by 2025. My work took me all over the country (ask me about the time I drove 40 puppies from the Mexican border to Missouri), and I met some amazing people and pets along the way.

I write the occasional travel story, too.
